Hot Shots is all about having fun while learning soccer skills, and what’s more fun that a squirt gun fight?! We use the squirt guns to teach dribbling instead of having girls dribble around cones. What’s fun is that? In addition to having fun, our aim is to build girls’ self-esteem, love of reading, and parental bonds. We are the only youth soccer program that includes 100% parental participation, storytimes, 5 books to take home each week, a youth art gallery, public speaking, and imaginative soccer training that uses puppets, parachutes, tutus, and, yes, squirt guns.

The season started Sunday, Sept. 12 (it’s not too late to sign up) and runs every Sunday through Nov. 14, with sessions at 9, 10, and 11 AM for all ages (2-6). The mixing of ages isn’t important because your daughter will never compete with other girls. She only plays with you, learning at her own pace. Any South Shore girl age 2-6 is eligible. The sessions are held at the Boys & Girls Club of Marshfield at 37 Proprietors Drive.
