STORY TIME & SOCCER? How many youth soccer practice start with a story time? None, right? But at Hot Shots Soccer for Girls, that’s exactly what we do. Every week!
Not only do we start with a story time, we also send every girl home every week with four books to read! (REGISTER HERE: http://bit.ly/2lw1XIZ)
Hot Shots is a nonprofit dedicated to building young girls’ (ages 2-7) athletic skills, self-confidence, love of reading, and parental bonds in a supportive, non-competitive environment.
We require 100% parent (or aunt, uncle or grandparent) participation. So you will be putting on tutus, having pillow fights, giving piggyback rides, and more silly stuff, all of which (believe it or not) is designed to reinforce a soccer skill.
We also have the girls do public speaking at the beginning of each session. And we have a girls’ soccer art gallery.
