Sad news: The fall season of Hot Shots is cancelled

But we’ll be back in the winter (Jan.-Mar.) and in the spring (Apr.-June).

Thirty years ago, I founded Hot Shots.

This summer, I finally accepted the fact that I can’t run it forever. So I have decided to retire and pass the Hot Shots torch to the next generation of Hot Shots leaders.

Rather than try to juggle running a season with finding and training a new director and his or her or their team, I thought the wisest course would be to take a one-season sabbatical to line up the future.

As a result, the fall Hot Shots season is cancelled, but rest assured we’ll be back with at least our Creativity Club this winter and a soccer season in the spring.

If any of you might be interested in becoming the new director or becoming part of the leadership team (marketing, fundraising, coaching, multi-media, events, etc.), please let me know (email me at jwilpers@hotshotssoccer.org or call or text me at 617-688-0137).

If you know someone who might be interested, please pass this along.
