At most youth soccer programs, parents just stand on the sidelines or drop their kids off. Not at Hot Shots. We require 100% parent participation because one part of our nonprofit’s mission is to help build parent-daughter bonds.
Parents (and aunts, uncles, and grandparents) play all our crazy games with their girls. They put on tutus, pretend to be alligators, have pillow fights, give their daughters piggy back rides, twirl Hula Hoops, and much more. And all of those silly games are designed to enhance a soccer skill.
We also build a lot of hugging and tickling into our games to give parents and daughters more physical contact.
Beyond parental bonding and building athletic skills, the mission of our nonprofit is also to help build girls’ love of reading. We start with a story time and send each girl home with four books to read every week. We also have a girls’ soccer art gallery.
Don’t miss out on a chance to make lasting memories with your daughter at a program where 98% of parents say their daughters come out more self-confident, more independent, more comfortable in social situations, and more willing to try new things.
